Dr. J. Rashid is the esteemed Clinic Director and President of FRC, a leading rehabilitation clinic in the Downriver area. With a profound dedication to Physical Therapy and the pursuit of physical well-being, Dr. J. Rashid’s visionary leadership has propelled FRC to its position as the foremost rehabilitation center in Taylor, MI, holding the top ranking for six consecutive years.

Boasting over 15 years of extensive experience in the realms of physiotherapy and health performance, Dr. J. Rashid embarked on his professional journey as a licensed physical therapist assistant, culminating in the attainment of his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His expertise spans a diverse spectrum of patient populations, encompassing orthopedics, athletes, geriatrics, pediatrics, and neuromuscular conditions.

Beyond his clinical excellence, Dr. J. Rashid is a compassionate advocate for community well-being. He has collaborated with the top nonprofit organization H.U.D.A clinic, volunteering his time and expertise to establish the foundation for providing physical therapy to refugees and uninsured patients. Furthermore, as a co-founder of MISA (Michigan Islamic Sports Association), he actively promotes religious coexistence through sports leagues and raises awareness about wellness and injury prevention.

Nergis Jassim, OTR/L 

Rehab Administrator, Occupational Therapist 

Mrs. Nergis Jassim is a passionate and highly skilled Occupational Therapist with a diverse background and extensive experience in Neurological Rehabilitation and Hand Therapy. Nergis completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Michigan, followed by earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. With over 13 years of experience in the rehab field, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals regain independence and functionality in their daily lives.

Nergis also holds a key leadership role as our Rehab Administrator. With a unique combination of clinical expertise and business acumen, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership in healthcare administration. She has a strong commitment to enhancing patient care and optimizing rehabilitation services, whilst fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth among her team.

Heather White

Office Manager

Mrs. Heather White is a dynamic and results-driven Rehab Manager with a background in navigating the complexities of insurance processes. Her in-depth knowledge of insurance policies and procedures allows her to effectively advocate for patients’ needs and streamline the authorization process. She excels in articulating the medical necessity of procedures, ensuring that our patients receive the coverage they deserve for their health and well-being. As an office manager, she also plays a pivotal role in creating a harmonious and productive work environment for our team, allowing our colleagues to focus on delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Ali Bukhari, LPTA

Physical Therapist Assistant 

Ali Bokhari is a skilled and empathetic Physical Therapist Assistant with a deep dedication to helping patients improve their physical functionality and overall quality of life. With a comprehensive education in anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and patient care, Ali collaborates closely with licensed Physical Therapists to develop tailored treatment plans. His adeptness at conducting assessments, guiding therapeutic exercises, and utilizing modalities ensures effective rehabilitation. Beyond his clinical role, Ali engages in community outreach and educational efforts to raise awareness about preventive care and well-being. His commitment to excellence and patient-centered approach defines his role as a valuable asset in the field of physical therapy.

Skylar Creshnaw, LPTA 

Physical Therapist Assistant

Skylar Creshnaw has been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) since 2021. Skylar received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Siena Heights University in 2018 and also received her associates of applied science to become a PTA from Professional Skills Institute in 2021. Skylar focuses on 3 dimensional functional movements with treatments and has worked with all age groups including pediatrics, athletes, and geriatrics. Skylar is certified in IASTM and 3DMAPS. She is also a former college softball athlete who is highly active playing slowpitch softball and taking her two German Shepherds on outdoor adventures.

Alison West, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist 

Mrs. Alison West is a NBCOT certified and Michigan Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working with varied elder, adult, and pediatric populations. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. Alison’s biggest motivation in her OT career is helping people in need to return to the life they love to live, whatever that may look like to them. In her  free time, Alison loves to spend time outdoors including occupations like hiking, swimming, and gardening. She also loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends!

Chelsi Ingle

Medical Receptionist

Ms. Chelsi Ingle is a warm and friendly office receptionist, dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for patients seeking therapy services. With her exceptional organizational skills and compassionate demeanor, Chelsi ensures that every patient’s journey at our facility begins with a positive and reassuring experience. As the front-line representative of our therapy clinic, Chelsi excels in clear and effective communication. She plays a crucial role in helping individuals access the support they need on their healing journeys. Her proactive approach and teamwork contribute to the efficient functioning of our facility.

Lazetta  Jamison, CPT

Personal Trainer

Lazetta “Zet” Jamison is a certified Personal Trainer with an Associates Degree in Kinesiology. She is also a certified nutritionist and recovery specialist. With a background as a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and recovery specialist, She is dedicated to bringing a holistic approach to wellness that goes beyond just lifting weights. Zet has achieved success as a women’s basketball coach and college strength and conditioning coach. Her passion lies in guiding others towards optimal fitness and well-being through personalized training and nutrition.
